EDIT: Hehe, I was playing around to see if I was actually able to make this a print, and I didn't know how to delete it so I re-uploaded it.
I wanted to make something for Yule, but I really hadn't found the motivation to do anything until I saw that *AvalonCommunity was doing a contest. This sort of falls along the lines of the "Mists of Avalon" priestesses (with the crescent on the forehead and light blue robe), but I thought this slight homage made it pleasing to look at.
There are a few weird-ities (as opposed to oddities) in here. I know the satchel is a bit.. hmf.. let's just say that I draw awkward satchels ok?
Credits to these wonderful people for their stock: - That marvelous snow background. - The priestess. - The herbs and plants.

Definitely seen better from you. Most things on this manip look out of place, though some things like the blending into the snow is great.
Ah well, still good, of course.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More

And help me clean these rusted eyes
Please take a look at my gallery, it won't bite...hard.
